Booking Information

A portion of all proceeds will be donated to The Friends of the Tiger Beetle and the Chesapeake Habitat Foundation, which works to preserve the habitat of the endangered species now thriving in the New Point Comfort Natural Area Preserve on Bavon Beach in Mathews County, Virginia.

House Rules

1. You must be 21 years of age or older to book Bavon Cottage and highly rated by other Air BnB hosts.
​2. An early or late fee of $50 will be charged for guests arriving before check-in time at 3:00pm or departing after check-out time at 11:00am.
3. No food or drinks except water are allowed in the bedrooms or upstairs.
4. Do not climb the rocks or dunes and follow all designated signs on Bavon Beach.
5. Do not enter the house before rinsing sand from feet and body using the outdoor shower.
6. Please respect the space, and report anything that is damaged or broken upon arrival or departure.
7. At Check-out, please wash dishes, take out trash, reset thermostat, turn off lights, secure all windows and doors, and confirm departure.

Discounts

Receive 10% off your stay when booking 7 or more days. There is a 20% discount when booking 14 or more days, except over holidays.

Cancellation Policy

100% refund of amount paid if you cancel within 48 hours of booking or at least 14 days before check-in.
​50% refund of amount paid if you cancel at least 7 days ahead of arrival.
No refund will be issued if you cancel less than a week ahead of your stay.
